First ring-style thumb controller debuts in PH

Peripherals maker Genius has introduced in the local market the Ring Presenter, the world’s first ring-style touch cursor controller for business, travel, and education users.

The Ring Presenter is designed to be worn in the ring finger which can be used for presentation with mouse functions.

With touch-control technology, it provides complete control to PowerPoint slides. In addition, the Ring Presenter can be used as a mouse, with the gadget able to perform all the following actions — move the cursor left / middle / right mouse button, dragging and scrolling in four directions.

There is also a switch between two modes: mouse and presenter.

The Ring Presenter is powered by a slim Li-ion rechargeable battery, which has a smart battery-low detector that flashes in blue when it is time to recharge.

It works through 2.4GHz technology which powers its laser pointer that can work up to a distance of up to 10 meters. The ring is made of elastic rubber.

The product, which retails for P3,225, is available in seven colors: blue, gold, pink, purple, green, black and silver.
