Cloud firm revs up channels partnership program

In an attempt to promote cloud computing among local firms, ArcusIT recently launched the first leg of its Channels Partnership Program at the National Sports Grill in Makati City.

ArcusIT also participated in a conference to promote cloud computing among rural banks

During the event, Intel’s Christopher Syling and ArcusIT’s Jannie Gareza and Jon Alcartado discussed how partnerships in cloud solutions could benefit Philippine businesses.

The talk was opened by Syling with a presentation entitled “Leading the Transformation to Open Data Centers and Cloud computing”. The discussion centered on how the cloud has influenced people’s personal computing experience, saying 2015 will be a year when cloud computing could attain widespread adoption.

Alcartado, meanwhile, said the current cloud environment is expected to expand three to five years from now. Gareza, on the other hand, said businesses can scale up and be successful by building partnerships in the cloud.

The launch was also attended by Megamobile’s Bon Sundiang who gave a testimonial on ArcusIT’s cloud computing services.

Last February, ArcusIT also sponsored the annual conference of the Confederation of Central Luzon Rural Banks at the Holiday Inn in Clark Field, Pampanga.

At the conference, ArcusIT discussed the concept of cloud computing to members of the rural banking industry.
