Asian mobile marketers put up training academy

Marketers from Asia-Pacific have launched the Mobile Marketing Academy ? an online education program to train the region?s next generation of mobile marketers.

Endorsed by the Mobile Marketing Association (MMA), the program was designed for fast-paced professionals who want to stay abreast of marketing?s most crucial touchpoint today.

?It is time to be more proactive in educating our region?s professionals in mobile. The Mobile Marketing Academy brings expert knowledge straight into their hands, and will even guide them through to the practical application of this knowledge,? said Rohit Dadwal, managing director of the Mobile Marketing Association (MMA) Asia-Pacific.

The Mobile Marketing Academy will open on October 15 and will run for five weeks, taking participants though an intensive course covering mobile industry landscape, mobile framework planning, and toolkits.

? Twelve one-hour webinars with over 10 regional experts, to focus on various mobile marketing disciplines. Speakers come from Google, Twitter, TNS, Mobext, Fiksu, and more.

? Over 100 learning modules and case studies. Hands-on learning is encouraged via weekly caselets and assignments.

? 100 percent online training ? access weekly live webinars, learning modules, training videos, and caselets, anytime and anywhere

? Preparatory training for Mobile Marketing Certification by the Mobile Marketing Association (MMA) APAC.

The Mobile Marketing Academy is organized by Mobext, the mobile marketing arm of the Havas Media Group, and the International Institute of Digital Marketing (IIDM), and e-Learning Edge.
