Sennheiser revs up bid to capture PH headphone market

German audio equipment maker Sennheiser has lifted the curtains on the newest member of its Momentum On-Ear products in an attempt to expand its footprint in the local headphone market.

The new smaller on-ear version comes in blue, green, pink, and ivory colors and is priced at P11,290 and is now available in selected retail outlets nationwide.

The headphones are equipped with high-end 18-ohm transducers, producing full stereo sound with a slight bass emphasis in a frequency range from 16 to 22,000 Hz.

With their closed, on-ear design, the headphones isolate the listener from external noise to ensure a great listening experience on the move — even in noisy urban environments.

Also the Momentum On-Ear headphones feature a single-sided detachable cable with in-line remote and microphone for Apple iDevices, for control of music playback and to make and receive calls on the go.

Sennheiser said the headsets ear pads and headband, finished at Alcantara in Italy, are valued by fashion designers and interior designers alike as they are made from a high-tech material.

As with all other models in the Momentum family, the headband of the Momentum On-Ear is made of stainless steel.
