Local Apple distributor Power Mac Center recently has commenced Arcadium 3, the app arcade tournament now on its third consecutive year.
The gaming showdown officially kicked off on Saturday, Nov. 16, at the SM Megamall in Ortigas City for the ?Despicable Me: Minion Rush? game, one of the five latest iOS and Mac apps to be showcased in the gaming competition.
Arcadium 3 tests the gaming skills of participants through its featured games that are expected to attract gamers of all ages and can be played on Mac, Apple TV, iPad, iPad mini, iPhone and iPod Touch.
The four other game apps included in the contest are Ducati Challenge, Shadowgun: Deadzone, Scrabble, and Elite Command AR.
Apple users and gaming enthusiasts can battle it up with fellow gamers at select Power Mac Center stores in various malls in the metro, namely Greenbelt, Powerplant Mall, Trinoma, Robinsons Magnolia, SM North, SM Megamall, SM Mall of Asia, and the Abreeza Mall in Davao City.
Prizes await the best players from each game. The top scorers from the elimination round will return to face the best of the best in the finals event on Dec. 15.
