Lenovo executives in the Philippines said that while products in the "PC Plus" era such as smartphones, phablets and tablets continue to outnumber personal computers, the China-based company is bent on protecting its PC production.
With the 40 tablets on hand, the DepED said would be able to properly document school records which were soaked, soiled, or totally destroyed. The project also ensures the longevity of school documents from being further damaged by such calamities.
Microsoft over the years has been oft-criticized for copying Apple products. However, Microsoft today could actually garner some admiration by taking a page from Apple?s playbook and offering its latest PC operating system for free.
