US-headquartered LivingSocial, the owner of group-buying site Ensogo.com.ph, has elevated its number two official in the Philippines as its new country head.
In a statement, LivingSocial said it has appointed Patricia Famador as the new country chief for the Philippines. She will replace departing managing director, Jojo A?onuevo, effective March 7, 2014.
Following two years with LivingSocial, A?onuevo is leaving to pursue outside interests, the company said. Anonuevo, a Stanford-bred IT veteran, has held top-level positions at Oracle Philippines, Yahoo, and Zynga.
Famador will oversee the Philippines operations along with a management team and alongside Nazar Musa, CEO of LivingSocial Malaysia, Indonesia, and the Philippines.
Famador has 20 years of experience in various roles and industries covering advertising and promotions, events, marketing and public relations, retail sales, and customer service.
Previously, Famador was director of operations for LivingSocial Philippines. Under her leadership, Famador has built a strong local team and established a track record with LivingSocial employees, partners, and customers in the Philippines.
