Nicolas Ojeda Jr., a former brigadier general in the Armed Forces of the Philippines, made his first public appearance as deputy executive director of the Information and Communications Technology Office (ICT Office) at the National ICT Summit being held at the Intercontinental Hotel in Makati City.
Ojeda, who is in charge of cybersecurity matters at the ICT Office, has yet to take his oath of office despite having been appointed to his new post by President Aquino last May 15. Prior to his retirement in the military, he was the head of the information systems division of the AFPMBAI (Armed Forces and Police Mutual Benefit Association Inc.), the pension arm for police and military personnel.
