The Department of Education and Europe-based NGO Stiftung Solarenergie Foundation (StS) have started the rollout of solar libraries in rural schools through the Light for Education Program (StS L4EP).
The Light for Education Program aims to improve educational outcomes in areas where access to electricity remains a challenge. Through this program, students and teachers will have solar reading lights and a solar charging station, which will allow them to have better learning conditions.
