A start-up under the wings of tech incubator IdeaSpace has invented an innovative LED lamp that can be powered for eight hours by a glass of water with just two spoonful of ordinary salt.
The lamp, which is about to start full commercial production after undergoing the prototype stage, is perfect for remote areas without electricity. Fishermen on a fishing expedition at dawn can also use sea water, which is even more potent than a saline solution.
