“We’re very excited to announce the arrival of our new T-Series Technical Drawing printers,” said Gladys Gutierrez, product manager of Epson Philippines Corporation’s commercial and industrial printers.

“It is the best in its class and will definitely make a positive mark in the evolving tools needed by architects and engineers,” she added.

Epson’s T-Series Technical Drawing printers, known for its reliability and low running costs, is now powered by the company’s new PrecisionCore Thin Film Piezo (TFP) print head technology.

“This expanded range of T-Series Technical Drawing printers is another big step in providing even better capabilities with ultra-low running costs,” said Epson Philippines president and country manager Toshimitsu Tanaka.

Epson’s revolutionary new PrecisionCore TFP print head delivers 2880 maximum dpi resolution and Variable-Sized Droplet Technology (VSDT).

The TFP print head provides outstanding accuracy and durability, while VSDT enables superior imaging with reduced ink consumption.

Print speed is another area where Epson made improvements in the new printers, making it possible to print an A1-size page in as little as 28 seconds. Another advantage is its power consumption and ink costs are often only half the amount of competing products.

The new T Series range consists of the 24″ SureColor T3200, 36″ SureColor T5200, 36″ Dual-Roll SureColor T5200D, 44″ SureColor T7200, and 44″ Dual-Roll SureColor T7200D.

Complementing the range is an optional large format 36″ scanner which enables configuration of a complete multi-function solution for high-resolution scan, copy, and share.

All T-Series Technical Drawing printers feature a compact design with front-loaded consumables, enabling easy operation even when placed against a wall or in a corner.

Performance and functionality on the new range has been enhanced with 1GB of memory as standard and the option of a 320GB hard drive. The expanded range also enjoys a faster processor and a new, quieter auto cutter.

Additionally, the new range has retained well-received features from the first generation T-Series Technical Drawing printers, including large waste tanks, “permanent” print heads, and a choice of cost-effective 110ml, 350ml, and 700ml ink cartridges.

Roll media operation features convenient spindle-less loading as well as a barcode system for media usage tracking and auto re-configuration.
