A high-level conference on science and technology education will try to dissect the issues confronting the sector in the Philippines and in member-economies of the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC).
The Philippines placed second overall in the medal tally with 7 gold, 24 silver, and 38 bronze medals. China was first in the ranking followed by the Philippines, Hong Kong, Thailand, Taiwan and Macau.
