Ayala tech firm is 7th in global automotive electronics revenues

Ayala-owned Integrated Micro-Electronics Inc. (IMI), a provider of electronics manufacturing services (EMS) and power semiconductor assembly and test services, now ranks seventh in the list of top automotive EMS providers of New Venture Research based on 2014 EMS-related revenues. This is an improvement from the previous 8th ranking in 2013.

Analyst firm Gartner said worldwide smartphone sales recorded the slowest growth rate since 2013 in the second quarter of 2015. Worldwide sales of smartphones to end users totaled 330 million units, an increase of 13.5 percent over the same period in 2014.
