Ascendant Chinese tech gear maker Huawei has formally announced the availability of the Huawei TalkBand B2 in the Philippines.
The Huawei TalkBand B2, whose price starts at P6,990, brings together the convenience of a Bluetooth earpiece and the functionality of a fitness tracker in one elegant design. The gear allows users to continue working without having to fumble for their phones and miss important calls.
It vibrates to notify a user of an incoming call and shows the name or number of the caller on the screen. All he or she has to do is detach the earpiece to answer the call. The device is also equipped with dual-microphone, noise reduction technology and Bluetooth connectivity.
The device has smart detection to understand whether the Bluetooth earpiece is on the wristband or not, allowing it to automatically push audio (music or call) to the smartphone or B2 bracelet. It can even connect up to two smartphones so the user does not have to choose which of his or her phones to pair it with.
Its battery can last up to five days, and support continuous call time up to six hours, and 12 days? standby time. The TalkBand B2 is also equipped with a pager to search and locate a user?s smartphone, regardless of the phone model, through vibration or ring tone alerts.
With its 6-axis motion sensor, the TalkBand B2 can automatically detect different activities with higher accuracy, such as walking, running cycling or climbing or hiking. It can also calculate the amount of calories burned by different activities to help a user plan his or her workouts, diet, and more.
Users can then sync the data with their mobile phones and even share the achievement with friends via social networks.
The same 6-axis sensor, likewise allows the TalkBand B2 to automatically identify and record motions accurately, detect the duration of deep sleep, and light sleep, and provide consumers with health tips on ways to improve their sleep pattern.
Designed with fashion in mind by the Huawei Aesthetics Center team in Paris, the TalkBand B2 sports a more premium design that focuses on comfort, style, and everyday elegance.
The TalkBand B2 sports a 0.73-inch, 128 x 88 pixel, mono PMOLED touchscreen. All a user has to do is sweep a finger to cycle through the various modes such as the time or date, steps taken, sleep time, and calories burned.
The metal bracket of TalkBand B2 is made of high strength, light weight aviation aluminum. The B2 comes in two watchband styles, the environmentally professional TPU material in white and black or the luxurious brown leather.
The Huawei TalkBand B2 Sport Edition comes in black and white priced at P6990 while the Gold TalkBand B2 Executive Edition is priced P7990.
