Sen. Francis "Chiz" Escudero, who is running for vice president in the 2016 polls, has urged the Department of Trade Industry (DTI) to create a separate office to regulate group buying sites and handle complaints of online fraud.
Although the Philippine is still categorized as ?free,? the study said that ?little progress has been observed in terms of improving access to the Internet, limited by high subscription costs and service that barely reaches the population outside major cities.?
