Audiofly, a company based in Perth, Australia that manufactures high-end earphones and headphones, has entered the local market with a clear objective of providing first-rate products to discriminating users.
Through its exclusive deal with local distributor Digits, which operates the gadget stores Digital Walker and Out-of-the-Box, Audiofly now counts the Philippines as among the Asian countries which it has recently established its presence.
For the local launch held on Wednesday, July 13, at the Century Mall in Makati City, Audiofly territory sales manager Matt Rowett and marketing manager Karen Lacheta flew in to the country to pitch the brand to tech and lifestyle reporters.
Rowett said Audiofly is initially bringing four models of earphones whose prices range from P1,500 to P9,500. Headsets would also be introduced in the local market soon, he said.
Asked how the company would be able to sell its costly earphones in a developing nation like the Philippines, Rowett said there is a growing middle class who want to have professional-grade audio equipment for their music collection.
Unlike other premium brands, the Aussie executive pointed out that Audiofly was created by professional musicians who know the importance of having finely crafted audio equipment to enjoy music at its best.
Audiofly earphones, he said, are built for expert craftsmen who have been crafting tone for years. The earphones allow the listener to rediscover their music with every speck of detail, exacting precision in sound clarity unlike any other, he said.
The company said its award-winning headphones, meanwhile, capture every detail in one’s music flawlessly, with features such as noise isolation and custom-voiced dynamic drivers that deliver smooth and powerful sound.
Its clear-talk microphone feature also ensures distinct voice transmission that is great for use with smartphones, the Aussie firm said.
