A business operations employee was named recently as the very first champion of the Excel World Championship Philippines held at the Microsoft Philippines office.
The Excel champ, Charles Emerson Ngo, triumphed over two other finalist after four grueling rounds. A total of 107 Excel enthusiasts joined the competition.
Ngo will represent the Philippines in the World Excel Championship in early 2017 in Seattle, Washington. At the event, he will get an opportunity to meet with Excel product leads to provide feedback on the next features to be added to Excel.
Excel World Championship Philippines, which ran from October to November 2016, provided a chance for Excel fans to show their skills and creativity as they worked through questions focusing on data management, data visualization, and formula writing.
