The Shine Lite has a private Safebox, where users can store private photos, videos, music, and documents. Users can also pre-program up to five fingerprints to launch five favorite apps directly from standby mode.

The Shine Lite’s front camera comes with front flash that makes photos brighter and more vivid under any lighting conditions. Its rear camera has a dual tone flash that allows for more natural and accurate color toned images under low light conditions.

Meanwhile, the Split Catcher app allows users to create a multi-view collage, capturing scenes from both front and rear cameras; and making it easier to create collages.

Its most exciting feature, however, is the “V” gesture snapshot. When taking a selfie, a user can simply make a V with his her finger and the timer will automatically start a count down

The Alcatel Shine Lite comes in two variants: pure white and satin gold. It will be available in local stores for P10,000.

MOVETIME Combine

Meanwhile, Alcatel also debuted the MoveTime Track and Talk Watch which enables parents to track their kids through the mobile device.

The smartwatch has geo-location features that uses a blend of GPS, GSM, and Wi-Fi to locate children within 90 seconds. It can also warn parents immediately when their kids enter or leave a pre-set safe zone.

With its alert notifications, users don’t need to check on their phone minute by minute. The notifications will also alert the parents of the activities of their children.

The send voice message feature, meanwhile, allows assigned family members to call their kids to check on them and remind them of stuff to do or things to remember.

It also comes with a touch button that kids can easily operate. It has a contact list that can save all family contact numbers, so that kids can easily scroll and call if they need to.

The watch also comes in cool and funky colors in blue and orange, with its battery life lasting for four days on stand-by time. It comes with a flexible and durable structure, and is water and dust proof.

The smartwatch costs P2,899 but it is also bundled with PLDT Telpad for an additional P199 per month.
