The local office of Taiwanese tech titan Asus has unveiled two new smartphones in the country – the ZenFone 3 Zoom and the ZenFone Live.
The ZenFone 3 Zoom is boosted by a 12-megapixel rear shooter with two lenses running on Sony IMX362 and Samsung 3M3 sensors and each can be used depending on the photograph the user is capturing. It also has a 13-megapixel front camera and is powered by a 5000 mAh battery.
The ZenFone Live, on the other hand, is touted as the world’s first smartphone with Live-Streaming Beautification features. It sports a large sensor 1.4um pixels for 2x light sensitivity for its front camera and 13 megapixel at the back.
George Su, Asus Philippines country manager, said his company will continue breaking barriers, noting that their smartphone line-ups have registered a 50 percent growth in the Philippines in 2016. In 2017, he said they are aiming for a 100 percent growth hike.
“Today, we are very happy that, as a late-comer of the smartphone brand, we are very proud that we are always in search of the incredible,” he said.
He said Asus revolutionized all the features and technology in the ZenFone 3 Zoom, a worthy successor to 2015′s ZenFone Zoom. Su said ZenFone 3 Zoom has over 42 days of standby power, and comes bundled with either of these goodies: JBL Bluetooth speaker (P3,099), Limited Edition Clear Case (P699), and ZenEar High Definition Earphones (P699).
The ZenFone 3 Zoom will retail for P23,999 while the ZenFone Live will sell at P6,995.
