Oppo rolls out F3, its latest selfie smartphone, in PH

Chinese smartphone company Oppo has launched the latest addition to its “selfie” series, the Oppo F3, together with the brand’s newest pool of endorsers.

The Oppo F3 is the smaller version of the recently-launched Oppo F3 Plus, sporting a wide-angled front camera to capture “groufies” without the need of a selfie stick.

“We at Oppo always strive to reinvent the mobile experience, and the release of the F3 reflects our relentless passion for even better smartphone photography,” Oppo Philippines brand marketing manager Stephen Cheng said. “Through our continued innovation, we hope to cement our brand’s position as the leader camera phone in the industry.”

Also, the Oppo F3 is equipped with a 16-megapixel rear camera and an exclusive U-rail spray technology that allows the body frame width to get slimmer than the F1s. The aluminum body has also undergone 220 fine zirconium sandblasting treatments.

Standing at 5.5 inches, a 2.5D Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protects the screen with pre-applied protective coating for scratch resistance. This smartphone’s FHD in-cell technology also gives vividness despite the glare of the sun.

Features of the Oppo F3 is powered by an octo-core processor, supported by 4GB RAM and 64GB ROM. A tray for two Nano 4G SIM cards with a dedicated slot for microSD card can be found at the right ear of the smartphone, too.

The Oppo F3 will hit Philippine stores on May 13 with a retail price of P16,000.00.
