Chinese smartphone manufacturer Vivo Mobile officially launched the Vivo V5s on Friday, May 19, at SM North Edsa Annex in Quezon City.
Equipped with a 20-megapixel front camera with f2.0 aperture, the V5s produces crystal clear and high-resolution selfies, which supplements the 13-megapixel rear camera with f2.2 aperture and an ultra-high-definition mode that renders up to 52 megapixels.
The V5s also boasts the newest group selfie technology of the series — the panning effect. It features a selfie softlight technology that creates lighting effects similar to those in a professional photography studio. The selfie softlight has an enhanced night mode for poor lighting conditions.
Ensemble connectivity options include 5G capacity for a more stable Internet connection, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.0, USB 2.0 and GPS.
The V5s stores 64GB internal memory, and is expandable up to 256 GB via mcroSD. As for speed and performance, the V5s runs on a personalized operating system, FunTouch 3.0, based on Android 6.0, powered by a 4GB RAM.
Other notable attributes of the V5s include a smart split 2.0 that enables the V5s to keep two tasks on screen at the same time, and a 0.2 fingerprint unlocking. Physically, the V5s sports slimmer bezels, a large 5.5 inch display in 2.5D corning gorilla glass, and U-shaped cover lines that lend premium aesthetics to the back cover.
The Vivo V5s is now available in stores nationwide at P14,990.
