In a lunch event hosted by local distributor General Heat Corporation on Wednesday, June 15, at Guevarra?s in San Juan, La Germania said it is eyeing the next-generation of local buyers with sleek and modern products that suit today?s kitchen space.

Leslie Tagle-Dinglasan, executive vice president of General Heat, said it is important for La Germania to keep up with the latest trends in kitchen technology.

With numerous competitors in the market, Dinglasan said La Germania needs to inform consumers that ?although they are older, it doesn’t mean they are out-dated.?

“It’s sort of a rebirth of the brand and to remind people that our heritage is a very rich one,” she said, adding that the company?s competitive advantage is its long experience and expertise.

“We grew up here and had the marriage of imported (Italian) and local (Filipino). It’s the design, functionality, durability, and we know the Philippine market. So kung anong gagawin namin, talagang magugustuhan ng Pilipino (What ever we do, Filipinos will really like it),” she said.

The Italian appliance brand carries various gas stoves, ovens, and range hoods.
