Capable of using the Moto Mods, which has allowed users to expand their phone’s abilities by attaching separate tools and accessories, the Moto Z2 Play features an all-metal unibody design at 5.5-inch height. It has a Full HD Super Amoled display for vivid color and sharp detail. The Z2 Play can accommodate up to two nano-SIM cards.

Say Hello to New Possibilities With Moto Z2 Play

“Motorola remains committed to delivering meaningful experiences through innovative mobile technology to consumers. Moto Z2 Play is a testament of bringing our philosophy of ‘different is better’ to life,” said John Rojo, country manager for Lenovo Mobile Business Group Philippines. “We believe that the ultimate satisfaction we can give to Filipino consumers is a transformative experience.”

The Moto Z2 Play is claimed to be the thinnest smartphone in the brand’s lineup at 5.9mm. It encases a 3,000 mAh battery that entitles users to seven hours of power in just 15 minutes of charging. Supporting up to 2TB microSD card expansion, the handset has a built-in 64GB ROM that runs on a 4GB RAM.

The handset combines laser autofocus with dual autofocus pixel technology to enable specific focus point in a poorly-lit environment. With the 5-megapixel front camera, the Moto Z2 Play also boasts a wide-angle selfie photos with the improved front shooter. Meanwhile, the rear camera boasts 12-megapixel dual autofocus pixel camera with F1.7 aperture.

Featuring a Night Display feature, the screen automatically adjusts to warmer tones at night to reduce the blue light that harms the eye. The Android Nougat-run smartphone is also equipped with Moto Voice, providing information such as weather, calendar updates, and an easy access to applications without touching or unlocking the handset.

The redesigned fingerprint pad has helped in providing the full 5.5-inch screen to the interface, removing the navigation keys and absorbing them instead. Swiping the fingerprint pad to the left does the “Back” function, while swiping it to the right does the “Recent Apps” function. Touching the fingerprint sensor takes you to the home screen.

Set to hit the stores in July 21, the Moto Z2 Play will be available in three exclusive Motorola outlets in SM North Edsa, SM Megamall, and SM Mall of Asia at P24,999. It comes in Lunar Gray and Fine Gold colors.
