The new Dell EMC office location between the Makati and Ortigas business districts allows easier access for customers and partners, making it more convenient for business meetings and collaboration.

Ronnie Latinazo, country general manager of Dell EMC Philippines, said during the office inauguration on Thursday, Aug. 17 that the merger of Dell and EMC has resulted in transforming the company in having one of the broadest portfolios in the tech market.

Latinazo said the combined Dell-EMC can now offer desktops, laptops, servers, storages, security, cloud, and software to address different market segments.

Latinazo pointed out that Dell-EMC is ready to assist business and industry in their transformation stage. With their combined technologies and expertise, he said the Dell-EMC combination can now meet the needs of their clients.

“Before the merger, Dell and EMC had a complementary of clients,” Latinazo pointed out. “We’re better together. While Dell provides client solutions, EMC offers storage and information infrastructure.”

As a result, he said Dell-EMC has now become more relevant to serve the market because it is now present in the consumer, commercial, and enterprise segments. “We now have a broader set of customers, broader set of services, products, and set of technologies,” Latinazo pointed out.

Latinazo also stressed the company is also undergoing transformation and is now developing a working environment conducive to employees.

“Dell EMC is all about modernizing technology infrastructure and it is our commitment to create working spaces that foster collaboration and support work styles of our team members,” Latinazo said Latinazo.

“Centralizing our facilities under one roof gives us a better advantage in streamlining our business processes to better serve our customers and partners,” he added. He said the decision to move the office to BGC allows easier access for customers and partners, making it more convenient for business meetings and collaboration.

Moreover, he said the collaborative working spaces will also allow Dell EMC team members to easily work together and develop solutions to help customers in their digital transformation journey and achieve their business goals.

2017 is also a historic year for Dell EMC team in the Philippines as it marks 20 years of operation in the country. The company’s history started in 1997 with Dell operations in Makati City and then in 2000 EMC established its operations in the country.
