The new Ego smartphones are the Note 4G, Note 3G, and Zoom Lite. The new tablets are the Ego Tab Wi-Fi (P2,599) and the Ego Phab 3G (P3,099). The three new Torque smartphones, which are all priced under P5,000, are bundled with a Smart LTE SIM.

“This is our ninth year in the industry and we intend to move forward by advancing our product offerings,” Chris Uyco, president and CEO of Topstrasse Global, the company behind Torque.

Uyco said during the launch that the company is set to introduce “very soon” 6-inch and bigger smartphones to cater to the needs of consumers who need extra-large phones. He, however, said that the ideal size for smartphones is between 5-inch and 6-inch, noting that the local demand for these phones is growing fast.

The Ego Note 3G runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow, while both the Note 4G and Zoom Lite come pre-installed with Android 7.0 Nougat.

Both the Ego Note 3G and Note 4G share the same 5.5-inch HD IPS display with 2.5D edge screen, while the 700Mhz LTE-ready Ego Zoom Lite flaunts a smaller 5-inch HD display in a Textured Stylish Gold and Black finish.

Meanwhile, the Ego Note 3G and Note 4G sports a Stone Gray Matte and Classy Gold finish. As their names suggest, the Note 3G supports 3G connectivity, while the Note 4G supports 700 Mhz LTE.

All three phones are powered by a quad-core processor paired with 1GB of RAM and 8GB of internal storage that is expandable up to 32GB, and all are equipped with 8MP rear and 5MP front cameras.

The Ego Note 3G is priced at P3,799, while the Ego Note 4G costs P4,599. The Ego Zoom Lite, on the other hand, is available for P3,999.

In addition, Torque Mobile partnered with Air21 and officially launched Torque Express. Customers having issues with their phones can contact Torque’s Customer Care team via email, call, or text to get their devices repaired.

A representative will then provide a reference number and recommend the nearest Air21 branch where they can drop off the devices for repair. After repair, Air21 will directly deliver the units to the customers’ doorstep, hassle-free.

As a bonus, Torque Mobile will be holding a “meet and greet” event with its brand ambassador Elisse Joson. Customers who will order new Ego Smartphones will get a chance to interact with Elisse and have their phones signed by the actress during the event.

The special promotion is exclusive at one2shop.com with an introductory price available starting August 8, 2017 until August 31, 2017 only.
