Online game platform Garena is bringing Batman to Arena of Valor (AOV) as the first DC Comics free-to-play hero.?Batman will be available for good to all players in the Philippines, Malaysia, and Singapore.
Arena of Valor is a joint venture of Garena ? a first for the gaming distributor ? and Tencent Games, the firm responsible for the widely-acclaimed multiplayer online battle arena?(MOBA) “League of Legends.”
Tencent has collaborated with DC Comics to produce iconic characters that will be included in the game along with the 36 heroes currently available to play.
The Gotham-native hero will be the first DC character to be released in the Philippines, Malaysia and Singapore. Players will be able to own The Dark Knight by simply logging into the game.
Tencent expects Batman to be a crowd favorite with his ability to deal sufficient damage with his skill rotation, allowing his teammates to clean up the battlefield. This melee assassin is predicted to be a popular pick for high-skilled players who enjoy strategizing and manipulating their hero?s skills to counter enemies.
Garena AOV can be downloaded through the Google App Store for Android users and through the Apple App Store for iOS users.
