Samsung PH brings out Galaxy Note Fan Edition, a rehashed Note7

Samsung Philippines has unveiled the Galaxy Note Fan Edition (FE) as the company’s direct response to its commitment in disposing the faulty Galaxy Note7 devices.


The Galaxy Note FE sports premium materials, a fully water-resistant body, and the S Pen. It is powered by an Exynos 8890 Octa Core processor with 4GB of RAM flaunting a a 5.7-inch QHD display with a crisp, 2,560 pixel, Super AMOLED screen.

“The move to re-engineer a flagship device to create an environmentally friendly, safe, and ultimately improved reincarnation of a fan favorite is meant to satisfy loyal followers of the Galaxy Note series,” shares Nio Judalena, marketing head for IT and Mobile at Samsung Electronics Philippines.

In addition, it is backed by a 12-megapixel dual pixel rear camera and 5 megapixel front facing camera.


As mentioned above, the Galaxy Note FE holds the S Pen, making sure that Note fans will experience the flagship feeling. The S Pen replicates the ease and accuracy of a real pen by using Screen Off Memo and pinning the memo to the Always On Display. It also gives users the ability to easily create and share GIF animations with Smart Select while Air Command functions.

In terms of entertainment, the Galaxy Note FE’s 5.7-inch QHD Super AMOLED display is supported by an HDR streaming ready to deliver the full viewing experience. The Galaxy Note FE also has a 12-megapixel dual rear camera and a 5-megapixel front facing camera.

For security, the device is guarded by a top-of-the-line biometric authentication with iris recognition technology, fingerprint scanning, and the Samsung Knox. It houses a new 3,200mAh battery thas gone through the 8-Point Battery Safety Check to maintain both quality and safety.

The Galaxy Note Fan Edition is now available and will be offered in blue coral and black onyx.
