Sony Philippines has introduced three new variations of wireless headphones with noise cancellation (NC) technology – the 1000X series.
It is lead by the WF-1000X, a wireless headphone equipped with NC technology sporting a behind-the-neck style that lets you pop the stylish WF-1000X buds comfortably in your ear. Along with the WF-1000X is a charging case that powers the headphone up to 9 hours of usage.
The WI-1000X, on the other hand, is designed for commuters who listen their music outdoors. It shuts down the background noise to isolate the music to the user’s ears.
Meanwhile, the WH-1000XM2 is the new headband-style noise cancelling headphone combined with unique Ambient Sound mode, Personal NC Optimizer, and Quick Attention mode. Its Atmospheric Pressure Optimising feature analyzes the surrounding atmospheric pressure improving the NC performance, which is perfect for frequent flyers.
In terms of battery life, the WH-1000XM2 is enhanced to last up to 40 hours with an audio cable and 30 hours wirelessly. It is backed up by a Quick Charge function regaining 70 mins of battery life with just 10 minutes of charging.
Using the freshly released “Sony Headphones Connect” app, the 1000X headphone series allows more flexibility in customizing how users want the headphones to adjust to their surroundings. It has an activity recognition “Adaptive Sound Control” capability offering noise cancellation and ambient sound preferences to suit different environments.
This smart listening skill is made possible by Sony’s integrated technology called Sense Engine designed to provide a personalized experience for every single sound including music and ambient sounds.
The WH-1000XM2 and the WF-1000X are now available on November 17 in Sony Centers and authorized dealers.
