The new facility is located at Raffles Corporate Building, in Ortigas Business Center in Pasig City. Vega Global managing director Laurie Chow led the opening and extended his congratulations to Angelo Somera, country manager of Vega Philippines, on the growth of the business since its opening in 2014.

“It was an honor to participate in the official opening of our contact center here as well as the expansion of the Manila office. This is a significant step in Vega’s growth and commitment to the audio-visual business in the Asia Pacific region and is part of our continued expansion to serve our local and multinational clients,” said Chow.

The expansion reflects the strength of the company and the popularity of the Philippines as the world’s call center capital, having an abundant labor pool that is educated, proficient in the English language, and familiarity of both Asian and Western cultures.

The company said a strong combination of excellent project deliveries and high quality of customer service has brought the company to where it is today and will merit more future expansions to other regions.

“This is really an exciting time for our global business. Being able to offer this type of 24/7 support that accommodates the multi-channeled modes of communications demanded by our clients is going to significant step forward in our service delivery capabilities. Our contact centre is plugged into our global network and will allow our clients to instantly communicate with us via video conferencing, toll-free phone lines, email or live chat at any time of the day or night,” said Matthew Deayton, global business development director of Vega Global.

The Philippines operation now comprises 30 highly skilled and qualified staff who are delivering projects throughout the country.

The strong client base is a mix of multinational operations and local business with high level of service and support expectations for their AV needs.
