Networking products manufacturer D-Link has announced its partnership with local tech distributor Versatech International at a media event held in Dusit Thani Manila Hotel on Dec. 5.
?D-Link has always been about building connections. We are looking forward to working more closely with Versatech whose extensive network across the country will help us achieve our goals and serve more customers,? said D-Link president Jacky Chang.
The company?s home and business networking products include Wi-Fi routers, extenders, and adapters, DSL modems and routers, powerline equipment, network adapters and switches, smart plugs and IP cameras.
With the partnership, D-Link seeks to bring these technologies to more Filipinos and businesses, especially BPOs and SMEs including those outside Metro Manila.
?The partnership is important because in order to get into the small and medium enterprise space which is growing. We need to also get a lot of resellers and dealers to have their own customers and really train them up to be capable to push the D-Link brand,? said Versatech executive vice president Stephen Yu.
One of new products of D-Link is the COVR-3902 Covr Wi-Fi System, a wireless networking solution for the home allowing seamless coverage of up to 6,000 square feet. This prevents dropped calls or frozen video streaming as users go from one portion of the home to another.
On the other hand, the COVR-2600R AC2600 Wi-Fi Router provides a fast Wi-Fi PowrZone while the COVR-1300E AC1300 Wi-Fi Range Extender covers the outer edge.
For enterprises, D-Link offers the DAP-2610 Wireless AC1300 Wave 2 Dual-Band PoE Access Point which uses wireless AC and features MAC address filtering, WLAN segmentation, SSID broadcast disable, rogue AP detection, and wireless broadcast scheduling. The product makes for secure and manageable dual-band WLAN options.
Also designed for enterprises is the DCS-4703E Vigilance Full HD Outdoor PoE Mini Bullet Camera for personal surveillance and security.
