Twitter adds new threading feature in latest updated version

Social media pioneer Twitter has announced a new threading feature that allows users to stitch tweets together to share longer messages.

The new tool has added a plus button in the composer so users can publish their threaded tweets all at the same time. Users can also add more Tweets to their published thread at any time with the new “Add another Tweet” button. Meanwhile, users who see threaded tweets can expand the post by tapping on the “Show this Thread” label.

“Now, hundreds of thousands of threads are Tweeted every day! But this method of Tweeting, while effective and popular, can be tricky for some to create and it’s often tough to read or discover all the Tweets in a thread. That’s why we’re thrilled to share that we’re making it simpler to thread Tweets together, and to find threads, so it’s easier to express yourself on Twitter and stay informed,” said Sasank Reddy, product manager at Twitter.

The update will be rolled out to everyone on iOS, Android, and in the coming weeks. Twitter threads will run in full-speed once the Twitter app is updated.
