Vivo tags 2017 as its breakthrough year in PH

Smartphone maker Vivo said 2017 was an auspicious year for the company in the Philippines as it was able to become the third most popular smartphone brand with at least 1.1 million users and 5,200 stores nationwide.

On a global scale, there are already about 200 million Vivo users in 2017. Vivo attributed its success to its innovative spirit and effective marketing strategy.

Some of the biggest names in local showbiz industry also became are brand ambassadors of Vivo. But before the introduction of local brand endorsers, NBA superstar Stephen Curry also signed up as Vivo’s global ambassador in September of 2016.
