US firm Amdocs bags multi-year contract with Globe

Telecom software maker Amdocs announced on Wednesday, Feb. 28, that it has signed a multi-year services contract with mobile operator Globe Telecom for the continuous enhancement its operations.

According to the agreement, Amdocs Intelligent Operations will assist Globe in managing third-party systems and cloud management solutions. This includes modernizing and running IT operations for multiple lines of businesses, including prepaid and postpaid mobile services, fixed-line broadband, and enterprise services.

No financial terms of the deal were disclosed.

With Amdocs Intelligent Operations, Globe is embracing artificial intelligence, chatbots, and machine learning technologies. The automation will enable faster resolution of issues and better customer experience.

As a result, Amdocs said Globe will be able to expedite their digital journey while reducing costs, and innovating and launching new services to customers.
