Hotel and resort operator opens co-working space in Makati

With nearly five million people expected to be co-working worldwide by 2022, a hospitality firm is venturing into workplaces with the opening of its new facility at the M1 Tower in Salcedo Village in Makati City.

Dubbed “Work Folk”, the collaborative work space is operated by Hospitality Innovators Inc. (HII), a Filipino-owned company that has a total of 19 hotel and resort properties in the country.

Featuring high-speed Internet connection at 100 mbps, flexible membership plans, and a premier business address, Work Folk offers a highly productive environment for everyone: from students to startups, freelancers to remote corporate office workers.

Students and freelancers can opt to use the Open Desk, which offers membership package fees for as little as three hours to as long as weekly or monthly tenures. They can also use a Dedicated Desk, an exclusive space can be set aside for the member.

Weekly and monthly rates apply with long-term locker rentals free of charge, as well as three hours of meeting room use per month included in the package.

Groups and teams requiring as little as four seats to as many as eight and above have the option of availing of Work Folk’s Private Offices – a furnished room with desks, chairs, and mobile pedestals.

Private Office members can access their work space 24/7 through a door access code while also enjoying 10 hours of meeting room use free of charge each month. Taking away the worry of paying utilities and association dues, the Private Offices allow members to focus on performing at full capability at just a fraction of the cost.
