Taxumo bags 3 trophies at 2018 Asean Rice Bowl Startup Awards

Online tax filing startup Taxumo was recently recognized as the Best Newcomer, Business Automation Tool, and Fintech Startup in the 2018 Asean Rice Bowl Startup Awards, making it the only Philippine startup to win three awards.

The Asean Rice Bowl Startup Awards, organized by the New Entrepreneurs Foundation, celebrates the spirit of innovation and entrepreneurship in the Southeast Asian startup ecosystem.

The awards reward innovation, excellence, and best practice in startups across the region. It also recognizes the excitement, risk and hard-work involved in developing a startup and the influence each person has on driving the success of their company.

“This awesome recognition from the Asean Rice Bowl Startup Awards further fuels our mission to help more startups and professionals focus more on their passion and worry less about the trivial details of running their businesses,” said Taxumo CEO EJ Arboleda.

Taxumo was also recently recognized as one of the social enterprises of the first batch of the Social Impact Accelerator. The Social Impact Accelerator is one of the initiatives under the Innovation for Social Impact Partnership (ISIP) project co-implemented by PhilDev Foundation and UNDP Philippines, with support from the Australian Government Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade.
