Broadcast giant ABS-CBN has partnered with Smart Communications and Globe Telecom to make it affordable for mobile subscribers to watch their favorite movies and shows on iWant, the first streaming service developed by Filipinos.
By availing their telco providers’ respective promos, mobile subscribers can stream iWant’s original shows and movies, including five of its latest 2019 offerings, “Allery in Love,” “Hush,” “High,” “The Gift,” and “S.P.A.R.K.”
Users can also look forward to iWant’s new originals this month, “Project Feb. 14” and “Apple of My Eye,” and its one-stop section iWant Sports, which will house various sports content offerings such as livestreaming of games, documentaries, and specials on professional leagues and collegiate leagues, boxing, and national tournaments.
Smart, TNT, and Sun subscribers can stream video content on iWant via Smart Gigasurf 99 with Video Every Day for P99, which comes with 2 GB data for surfing and all apps and an additional 1 GB per day to watch up to one hour of videos every day, valid for seven days.
Globe mobile customers can also enjoy streaming of their favorite Kapamilya movies and TV shows on iWant for as low as P29 with GoWATCH.
To register, just text GOWATCH29 to 8080 and get 2 GB or up to five hours of streaming for iWant and other video apps and sites valid for one day.
iWant, which kicked off 2019 with 11.3 million registered users, has the largest library of video content on any streaming service in the country that can be streamed by users for free, including original movies and shows such as “Glorious,” “Spirits Reawaken,” “Ma,” “Alamat ng Ano,” and “Laureen on a Budget,” as well as currently airing and old ABS-CBN shows, films, documentaries, Asianovelas, thousands of songs, One Music’s live digital concerts, and the livestreaming of “Camp Star Hunt,” “iWant ASAP,” DZMM TeleRadyo, ABS-CBN Channel 2, and ABS-CBN S+A.
Smart, TNT, Sun, and Globe subscribers can also use their postpaid or prepaid accounts as their payment method to stream premium content such as foreign and digitally restored Filipino classic films and access the latest hit local movies via pay-per-view.
