Google intros localized job openings on Google Search

For fresh graduates searching for their first job or professionals looking to take their career to the next level, Google is now making it easier to land that perfect employment opportunity with the launch of jobs on Google Search in the Philippines.

?30% of the country?s workforce is millennials, and a big challenge we have been working on is connecting these young Filipinos to the right jobs,? said Stacie Chan, product partnerships manager at Google Asia-Pacific.

With jobs on Google Search, job seekers can find relevant vacancies that suit their personal dreams, goals, and skill sets in just a few keywords.

The new feature brings over half a million listings from different industries and job listing platforms directly to Google search.

Searching for jobs on Google will show results from partner websites, including Department of Labor and Employment, Kalibrr, Jobayan Jobs Cloud, and the Civil Service Commission.

Users can customize their job search journey by filtering results through criteria such as job position, industry, location, posting date, and company type.

Aspiring applicants can also view more information about the posting by simply clicking on the Search result or through a link that will redirect them to the employer job page. They can save a specific search and turn on notifications to receive alerts about the latest and relevant job openings.

Jobs on Google Search is available in English and is now accessible on the Google Search app on Android and iOS, as well as on mobile and desktop browsers.
