Silicon Valley-based firm Riverbed Technology has announced that it has signed a strategic distribution partnership with local ICT distributor VST-ECS Phils. As a digital performance firm, Riverbed helps businesses gain actionable insights into users’ digital experience, achieve operational agility by transforming networks, and dramatically accelerate business performance and outcomes.

The partnership will allow VST-ECS to carry the Riverbed Digital Performance Platform and offer it across its channel partners to ensure that digital experience management technologies and next generation infrastructure solutions are within reach of its target customer and industries.

According to VST-ECS Phils. president and CEO Jimmy Go, the appointment as Riverbed’s local distributor will not only enhance the scope of VST-ECS portfolio but also renew the commitment to build the Riverbed brand in the local market by providing a range of value-added services, lead-generation initiatives, and marketing activities.

“In a time when digital transformation has begun to translate into growth for many businesses in Philippines, getting the digital and end user experience right has never been more important,” said Bjorn Engelhardt, senior vice president for Asia Pacific and Japan at Riverbed Technology.

“The combination of MSI-ECS’s extensive channel network, talented workforce and deep understanding of local market dynamics will enable us to more effectively bring to market the Riverbed Digital Performance Platform, creating more opportunities for businesses to capitalize on their digital investments,” he added.
