At this year?s Asian Innovation Summit, the country’s top companies converged to showcase their journey through digital transformation at the Grand Hyatt Hotel in BGC.
In Southeast Asia, innovations brought by technology and digital transformation towards concepts like the intelligent enterprise play a vital role in the region’s growth.
According to a report from the Asean Economic Integration, by 2030, Southeast Asia is expected to be the fourth largest economy which is primarily caused by the region’s waves in innovation and business model building amidst the Industry 4.0 Revolution.
In sectors like education, traffic, loan, and even credit accessibility, Southeast Asia is making great strides to address their growing consumers hailing from both traditional and digital markets. Likewise, more executives are growing in confidence when they digitally transform their services and products to cater for the rising demands of consumers.
Local enterprises as well, must recognize consumer contentment in the era that headlines the “experience economy” and that relying on products and services alone may not suffice. Moreover, they should be able to go beyond and gain competitive advantages in utilizing transformative experiences by delivering customer preference through collaborative settings.
“Regardless of size, regardless if they’re family-owned, conglomerates, or even startups, SAP is helping them with their businesses and helping them run better so that we can all improve people’s lives,” said Edler Panlilio, managing director of SAP Philippines.
During the event, JG Summit Holdings, one of the largest conglomerates in the Philippines, announced their collaboration in a project to help accelerate their journey towards digital transformation with the integration of SAP S/4HANA solution. This will spur new growth areas for JG Summit?s main corporate arm, its subsidiaries, and affiliates.
