Canon Philippines announced last week six new product offerings that include three new refillable ink tank system printers, two mini photo printer and digital cameras, and its lightest digital SLR camera to date.
The Canon EOS 200D II DSLR camera, which the company is marketing as the camera for content creators, is equipped with an APS-C CMOS sensor with 24.1 megapiel. The entry-level camera is powered by Canon’s DIGIC 8 imaging processor for shooting 4K video quality.
With an ISO range of 100 to 25,600 and expandable up to 51,200, an EV-4 AF luminance, and a 4K Time-Lapse function, the EOS 200D II is priced at P41,998.
Customers who avail the camera in any of Canon’s authorized dealers nationwide will also receive a free camera bag and an additional two years of warranty upon enrollment in the Canon Red app.
Canon has also unveiled its first instant cameras for its Mini Photo Printer lineup, the iNSPIC S and iNSPIC C which combines the image-capturing power of a digital camera and a compact mini printer that can fit in a pocket.
“We’re excited to bring the new iNSPiC instant cameras to the Philippine market and I’m happy to announce that it will be available by July 2019 in Canon’s authorized retail outlets and online shopping sites. The stylish and lightweight iNSPiC S and iNSPiC C offer a fun and exciting way to shoot and share inspiring pictures in an instant,” said Benny Yu, head of consumer imaging and information division at Canon Marketing Philippines Inc.
The iNSPIC S has an 8MP camera module with a fixed focus with a built-in LED ring light around the lens, which are specifically designed for portrait shots.
Also coming in with an expandable storage of up to 256GB with an SD card, the iNSPIC S bears a price tag of P9,000.00 while the iNSPIC C is priced at P7,900.00, with the latter packing a smaller 5MP camera.
“We’re mindful of how our consumers’ behavior have evolved in this digital age where everything needs to be quick and easy, and we felt that these new products will complement their lifestyle as it offers a simple and fun way to snap, print, and stick photos. It’s the perfect sidekick for any gathering and occasion,” shared Yu.
Meanwhile, the new additions to the Canon PIXMA Ink Efficient G Series feature a refillable integrated-in-body ink tank design, a large paper feeding capacity, wired and wireless LAN support, and a full network compatibility.
The lineup consists of the multifunction printer called PIXMA G6070 All-in-One that handles printing, scanning and copying. There’s also the PIXMA Ink Efficient G5070 which is a print-only workhorse and the PIXMA Monochrome GM2070 which can print with a conventional color ink cartridge, as well as transform into a single function monochrome printer.
The multifunction printer costs P16,990.00, while the single function printer is priced at P11,990.00. The monochrome printer, meanwhile, retails at P9,690.00.
