Why secure, hassle-free online bank transfers are priceless

How much would you pay to keep your cash secure? What price would you put on the time that you don’t waste? How much is the monetary value of convenience? Why waste time and money when you have tools such as the new BPI Online and BPI Mobile app? We listed the top three reasons why you should use these digital platforms.

1. Security is guaranteed. You don’t have to carry so much cash with you. Moreover, online transfers have security processes in place such as the One-Time PIN (OTP). As long as you follow the bank’s tips and advice for doing online transactions, then you won’t have to worry. You get to do this in the comfort of your home or workplace.

2. It saves you a lot of time. You don’t have to endure horrible traffic just to go to the bank. Think of all the time you spend in transit or the long queues. If you do it online, you can ditch this inconvenience and do your bank transactions in, say, just five minutes. That’s considerably more convenient than being stuck in traffic for two to three hours just to get to the bank. The time you save is priceless.

3. It’s very convenient. You don’t have to type the account numbers of the accounts that you regularly do transactions with. Enrolling an account makes funds transfers easier as you will only have to select the enrolled account or biller whenever you transact.  Note that BPI allows you to enroll up to 99 third party accounts and billers.

Again, don’t forget that if you enroll the third party account, funds transfers remain free. BPI reminds us: “Enroll your third party accounts to continue enjoying fund transfers at no cost. Just visit any branch or mail a signed Third Party Account Enrollment Form.” Bank transfers via QR Code are also free for a limited time.

Security, saved time, and convenience may not have actual price tags, but their value cannot be denied.

Our advice? Enroll the accounts for your most frequent transactions now, and maximize the use of BPI Online and BPI Mobile app.
