By Ram Superable Agustin

Chinese smartphone manufacturer realme — which already has more than 65 kiosks and 23 service centers active in the country — opened its first concept store at SM Fairview on June 29.

The concept store will offer realme’s current devices; the realme c2, realme 3, and realme 3 Pro, as well as various smartphone cases and accessories.

The store opening is also complemented by multiple exclusive deals and promos for customers. For starters, customers who buy any Realme smartphone from June 29 until July 31, 2019 get the chance to win up to 10 Realme 3 Pro devices for his or her first-degree family members.

“We are ecstatic to share all of the surprises we’ve been working on for our fans this coming brand month. We hope not only to expand our touch points but also, and more importantly, to engage and grow our community members through different activities. This July, we will further dare to leap to further heights to provide real value to each and every Filipino smartphone user,” said realme Philippines marketing lead Eason de Guzman.

The realme brand was launched in the country in the fourth quarter of 2018. Since it aims to position itself as a gaming companion, realme is keen on forging strategic partnerships in the Philippine gaming community. For starters, realme is the official sponsor for the third season of Mobile Legends: Bang Bang Professional League (MPL).

Aside from the MPL PH Season 3, the brand also holds its own inter-community Mobile Legends Tournament. The winners of the tournament’s debut season brought home realme 3 Pros, as well as cash prizes. The second season of said tournament is set to launch by the second week of August and will have a prize pool of P2 million.

Meanwhile, realme’s Stream-for-a-Cause, the first-of-its-kind charity game streaming on its Facebook page, will feature famous gaming streamers like Akosi Dogie, Kimbee, Chin Valdes, Suzzysaur, and MPL Season 3 Champions Arkangel. The streamers will be engaging with fans through live-streamed mobile battles that are live-streamed and star donations from fans will be accepted and converted to cash for the benefit of Valeriano Fugoso Memorial School in Marikina City.
