Xiaomi debuts Redmi 7A in PH; price starts at P4,790

Chinese smartphone maker Xiaomi has announced the availability of its latest device in the Redmi series – Redmi 7A.

Redmi 7A represents a complete upgrade over its predecessor, Redmi 6A. It comes with the more powerful Qualcomm Snapdragon 439, a larger 4000mAh battery, improved design, faster 10W charger, improved speakers, splash resistance, as well as the ability to receive FM radio signals without an external antenna.

Redmi 7A is power efficient with an octa-core processor providing smooth day-to-day use and reliability. Coupled with a large 4000mAh battery, Redmi 7A offers up to two-days of normal use.

It features a 5.45” HD+ Full Screen Display with wide viewing angles and support for full screen gestures. The display features low blue light eye protection certification by TÜV Rheinland, ensuring a comfortable experience for the eyes.

Redmi 7A sports a 12MP rear camera with large pixel size of 1.25um, able to capture clear images even in low-light conditions, as well as a 5MP front camera that features AI face unlock.

With the ability to receive FM radio signals without external antenna, along with support for loud audio output, Redmi 7A allows users to listen to their favorite FM radio stations headset-free.

Furthermore, it also offers a dedicated microSD card slot, a headphone jack and splash resistance for a convenient experience.

Redmi 7A will be available in Matte Blue and Matte Black at P4,790 for 2GB+16GB version and P,290 for 2GB+32GB version in Gem Blue and Matte Black. A stylish gradient design in Gem Blue is available for 2+32GB variant.

It will be available on Mi Authorized stores starting from July 26, will roll out on Lazada starting from August 6, and will soon be available on Shopee.
