Brickyard reaches Pinoy Tamiya fans with 2nd branch in QC

Hobbyists and enthusiasts in the northern part of Metro Manila can now race and customize their Tamiya Mini 4WDs closer to home since The Brickyard by Lil’s Hobby Center opened at the Ayala Malls Vertis North last July 29.

With the first branch located at Glorietta 2 in Makati City, the company promises that members of their building and racing community will enjoy the platform where they can create, connect, and complete, much like how Tamiya brands all of their products.

In line with this, The Brickyard also pushed the inaugural Mini 4WD Philippine Cup tilt which will was held on August 24 and August 25 at Circuit Makati. The winners are the country’s representatives for the 2020 Asia Challenge that will be held in Taiwan.

“We want The Brickyard to continue to be the destination of choice for any enthusiasts looking to feel comfortable while enjoying the hobby experience,” shared owner Ferdie Kahn. He also added that they are continuing to study feasible areas and locations where there is a good audience and amenities as well.

Lil’s Hobby Center has been the local distributor of Mini 4WD and scale models for over 50 years and is targeting to expand by bringing the next center outside of the Metro Manila area to reach places that Mini 4WD has a following.

“We will not only race in Metro Manila, but we will attempt to race in several other cities outside of Metro Manila. We will go to Tacloban and Cavite. We are working on scheduling on Baguio,” Kahn added.
