Broadband and cable provider Sky has launched the Sky Fiber All-In Box, which the Lopez-owned firm said is the first of its kind in the country that combines the functionalities of a WiFi-enabled modem, digital terrestrial TV, and cable TV modem.
The Sky Fiber All-In Box frees users from the hassles of maintaining three different devices for their broadband, cable TV, and digital terrestrial TV services. It allows subscribers to enjoy fiber-fast Internet speeds of up to 200 Mbps and watch television and online shows.
Users can catch free ABS-CBN TVplus channels such as Cinemo, Yey, Jeepney, Knowledge Channel as well as ABS-CBN shows, iWant Originals, and local movies on the TV screen via the built-in iWant app. Skycable channels are also included in the box — from Cartoon Network HD, Nickelodeon, Cinema One, Metro TV HD, CNN HD, to NBA Premium.
The All-In Box also offers a full range of other conveniences that include a program schedule reminder, the ability to record shows, a built-in media players for video and music, parental control settings for those who want to keep track of their kids’ viewing, and even access to one’s account information such as account data and billing information.
Subscribers can choose to avail of the new All-In Box with Sky Fiber’s Super Speed Plans 5 up to 150 Mbps.
Sky Fiber’s All-In Box is available for a special introductory installation fee of P1,499. It is initially available in Metro Manila, Cavite, Laguna, Bulacan, Cebu, Bacolod, Iloilo, Davao, and Gen. Santos.
At the same time, Sky also introduced its new Super Speed Plans starting with Plan 5 Mbps that is available at P999/month. Its new Plan 25 Mbps is priced at P1,499/month, while its Plans 50 Mbps is priced at P1,999/month. Other plans include 75 Mbps at P2499/month and 150 Mbps at P3,499.
Families who also want cable TV can choose bundles for as low as P1,599/month with 15 Mbps speeds while those who want seamless connection in their two- to three-storey houses can avail of its Home WiFi plans that are available for as low as P1999/month for Plan 30 Mbps that is already bundled with free Wifi Mesh. WiFi Mesh gives users an optimized internet experience as it eliminates WiFi-dead zones in large spaces.
