Honda PH unveils 2 new motorcycles aimed at female riders

Motorcycle manufacturer Honda Philippines recently unveiled two new bikes: the Genio, which caters to riders who are fans of blending innovation and style, and the ADV150 which boasts a refreshed urban design.

Alongside the big reveal of two new offerings Robinson’s Metro East Mall in Pasig City, Honda also introduced local celebrity Yassi Pressman as their new female brand ambassador for the Genio.

“We chose Yassi Pressman we believe that she personifies what The All-New Genio is all about, cool and fashionable,” shared Honda Philippines president Susumu Mituishi.

The Genio is positioning itself towards the female market, officially branding itself as a bike that solves the mobility concerns of female commuters. It is equipped with vague smart technology and smart power, as well as a digital meter panel with an Eco indicator. For security, it comes with a secure key shutter with seat opener. At the front is a spotted LED headlight.

Inside the U-box with a capacity of 14L are tubeless tires and an inner rack, while underneath is a combined brake setup comprising of a front disc brake and a rear mechanical drum braking system. It will be available at local Honda dealerships by December this year, retailing at P72,900.

“We are excited to bring to the Filipino market our latest model, the all-new Genio and the all-new ADV150. We are confident that our Filipino customers will appreciate the motorcycles we created because we made them with their dreams and aspirations in mind,” said Mitsuishi.

Meanwhile, the ADV150 arrives with exquisite features coupled with futuristic design elements like its all-LED lighting system and a full digital meter panel for clear riding information reading. The console box comes with a built-in power charger while the 28L utility box has a seat stopper.

The bike is equipped with the Smart Key System and a twin sub-tank rear rear suspension for the 14-inch and 13-inch front and rear tires respectively. With thee bikers’ safety in mind, the ADV150 also has an emergency stop signal (ESS) installed coupled with an Anti-lock braking system which Honda Philippines shares as a more stable braking system. The bike has an official price tag of P149,000.
