During the launch, Canon Marketing Philippines Inc. (CMPI) head of Consumer Imaging and Information Division Benny Yu said the new innovations brought by the refreshed lineup is aimed towards improving performance and productivity that brings positive use cases to businesses and enterprises, as well as push these companies forward.

“Through the years, Canon’s commitment to helping our customers grow their businesses has never wavered. The launch of our newest printers and wireless presenters builds on that commitment to continuously innovate our products and help our customers find the right gears to drive their businesses to new heights,” he said.

The PIXMA Ink Efficient G7070 and PIXMA Ink Efficient GM4070 both come equipped with automatic two-sided printing, a large-scale paper feeding capacity, an automatic document feeder, and a full network compatibility housed in compact bodies for maximum efficiency. Canon is marketing these two as the perfect partners of businesses with high print volume demands.

For the PIXMA Ink Efficient GM4070 alone, a scan-to-fax option comes built-in. The document feeder can accommodate 35 sheets at a time and can be loaded with up to 350 sheets per batch for uninterrupted operations; from printing, scanning, and copying. For a single bottle refill, the GM4070 can put out 8,300 black-and-white documents, while the G7070 can only manage 7,700 but in color.

As Canon’s first-ever business inkjet device offerings, the WG7740 and WG7750F offer users with high-speed and high-volume printing paired with improved ink technologies to enhanced business performance and productivity while maintaining low printing costs.

As part of the WG7700 business inkjet printer series, the two new units are able to print 70 and 80 pages respectively while using Canon’s Full-Photolitography Inkjet Nozzle Engineering (FINE) technology which uses a mechanical printhead equipped at the ink cartridges themselves. Although FINE ink cartridges are usually found in cheaper Canon printers, it still has a higher running cost than single ink printers.

The automatic document feeder can load up on paper as much as 2,250 sheets, which makes the unit better-suited for continuous print tasks. For monochrome documents, it can print up to 20,000 pages and 16,500 colored ones. For easier usage, these printers also come with a 5-inch color touchscreen with a simple UI while using minimal power.

Canon’s all-new lineup of wireless presenters — the PR1100-R, PR100-R, PR500-R, and the PR10-G — are all built with intuitive features in a pen-sized design catering towards users that seek confidence and convenience in presenting.

The first three feature a bright red laser that is twice more visible than a standard red laser in the market, and is effective for to 15m in range. Meanwhile, the PR10-G is equipped with a high intensity green laser that is eight times more visible for long-range presentations of up to 30 meters.

All these products will be available by this month nationwide, in all authorized Canon resellers. The PIXMA G7070 and PIXMA GM4070 ink tank system printer will have a price tag of P19,950 and P13,950, respectively. Meanwhile, the WG7750F and WG7740 business inkjet printers retail for P329,000 and P269,000.
