These include the Instaview Door-in-Door Refrigerator, the Black Two-Door Top Freezer, the Stacking Washer/Dryer Front Load, the Twin Wash, and the Black Turbo Wash 3D.

LG launched ThinQ two years ago as an umbrella brand for their products that are powered with artificial intelligence or AI . These consumer electronics included refrigerators, air-conditioners, and smartphones.

It may be recalled that LG introduced smart functionalities in the 2011 Consumer Electronics Show. Later on, the said functionalities materialized in 2017 with electronics boasting of features such as voice control interaction with users and multiple sensors. Future-proofing was implemented by learning engine technology.

The ThinQ products run on LG’s own AI platform called Deep ThinQ which improves itself according the behavioral patterns and habits of the users. These appliances are used in tandem with the LG ThinQ mobile application which has already been downloaded more than a million times and is compatible with Android OS 4.4 (KitKat) and above. Other IoT devices and appliances that can be controlled through the app includes LG’s robot cleaners, ranges and ovens, dishwashers, and even dehumidifiers.

Meanwhile, the new products set to be launched by Q2 2020, includes a new Dual Vane Cassette, an updated 4 Way Ceiling Cassette, and the Round Cassette. The recently announced single CAC line includes – the Floor Standing, the Ceiling Mounted Cassette, the 1 Way Ceiling Cassette, the Ceiling Suspended, and the Ceiling Concealed Duct, all featuring LG’s R1 Compressor™ and Smart Inverter that maintains a higher efficiency while lowering the costs.

“Last year, sales of LG Electronics in the Philippines have grown significantly and HVAC business was an important part of it,” stated Inkwun Heo, managing director of LG Electronics Philippines.

These HVAC products were also presented at the last Heating, Air-Conditioning, Refrigeration, and Fluid Exhibition Korea (HARFKO) 2019 at the KINTEX Center in South Korea. The HVAC and refrigeration exhibition has been running twice a year since 1989 and LG hosted this year’s iteration with their largest booth covering 450 square meters.
