PH teams to compete in first ‘Mobile Legends’ world match in KL

From November 15 to 17, the first ever “Mobile Legends: Bang Bang” World Championship, dubbed as M1, will be held in Malaysia.

The competition will feature 16 teams across the world, including two squads from the Philippines, that will battle it out for the prize pool of $250,000.

The M1 World Championship kicks off with group stages rolling out from November 11 to 14. Then, it will be followed by the main event as teams go through regional qualifiers, such as the “Mobile Legends: Bang Bang Professional League (MPL)”, for Malaysia, Singapore, Indonesia, Myanmar and the Philippines, and the M1 Qualifiers for countries without MPL such as Cambodia, Thailand and Laos, Vietnam, Japan, Turkey, Russia, United States and Brazil.

Hailing from the Philippines are Sunspark and Onic PH which are all set for the battle ahead.

Fans and enthusiasts who want to experience the M1 Championship live can get their three-day or one-day pass here. Tickets are bundled with limited edition goodie bags and entry into the M1 lucky draws where fans can win motorbikes, smartphones, gaming chairs, headsets, the M1 bundle pack and more. They will also get the chance to participate in the KOL Showmatch, special pass into the Experience Zone, as well as entry to get the coveted Miya figurine.

All the action will be live-streamed on YouTube Gaming from battleground at Axiata Arena, Bukit Jalil in Kuala Lumpur.

Meanwhile, in this year’s Southeast Asian (SEA) Games, e-sports will make its debut with “Mobile Legends” sponsoring the first gold medal in the category. Nine national teams will compete to be the best “Mobile Legends: Bang Bang” team in Southeast Asia.
