Shopee to conclude ‘11.11’ Christmas sale on national TV

E-commerce platform Shopee will be holding its first-ever televised show this Sunday, Nov. 10, for a countdown to the finale of this year’s Shopee 11.11 Big Christmas Sale.

The program, titled “11.11 Big Christmas TV Special” will be airing on GMA7 at 10:30 PM and will have guest performers from the network including Alden Richards, Maine Mendoza, and Heart Evangelista. Also to be unveiled during the program is Jose Mari Chan’s new holiday jingle exclusively for Shopee.

“Christmas is an important holiday for Filipinos, and we are thrilled to kickstart the celebrations in the biggest way possible with our very first televised Christmas concert, the Shopee 11.11 Big Christmas TV Special. With this, we hope to deepen engagement with our users by bringing them closer to their favorite stars and brands, and also to foster the festive spirit in the Philippines,” shared Shopee Philippines associate director Martin Yu.

Included in the program will be three Shopee Shake games where they will be handing out over P11-million worth of prizes, exclusive deals, and various discounts.

Some of the major prizes are vehicles such as the Toyota Fortuner and the Rusi Mojo 200 motorcycle, while a house and lot will be awarded by Avida. Meanwhile, brands like Unilever, Pampers, Maybelline, Anker, and Perfetti van Melle during the show will give away up to 70% of discounts for their merchandise.

For the entire 11.11 sale, on the other hand, all products in the site will offer free shipping without a minimum spending amount. The event will also be filled with free mobile device promos that consumers can get their hands on, especially the five iPhone 11 giveaways and 90% off on Xiaomi Redmi 7 and Redmi 7A. For P11, a 32” LED TV and a Rapoo V600 Gamepad is up for grabs.

The TV program will also be airing on Shopee’s in-app platform for sellers, Shopee Live. Metrobank card users will get an additional 12% off upon checkout and Cignal Ultimate Prepaid HD will retail for P2,290 with an added two months’ worth of load for free.
